SDN IMPLEMENTATION IN A LEADING FINANCIAL ORGANIZATION
Highlights:
- The project involved creating a Fabric Site at the new campus and migrating data from the current campus.
- The challenge was to carry out the deployment without affecting the operation of network services and to ensure high availability, scalability and expandability of the network structure.
- In the course of the project, we centralized and automated network management using the customer’s existing Cisco DNA Center and Cisco ISE (NAC) systems to control the SD-Access infrastructure.
PROJECT CHALLENGES
Working on a complex and distributed environment.
Ensure continuity of network operations.
Constantly changing equipment delivery schedules and changes in the concept and formal design assumptions.
KEY STEPS
1/6
Audit the existing infrastructure and define the desired network architecture.
2/6
Develop the project documentation.
3/6
Deploy the infrastructure, including a DNA Center reliability cluster, wireless network controllers and switches performing relevant functions as part of the SDA solution.
4/6
Verify and configure the defined network segmentation, access control and security policies using DNA Center.
5/6
Perform network service availability testing, including verification of the network during both daily operations and emergency scenarios.
6/6
Develop detailed as-built documentation.
